David Wayne founded DMW Construction Management in 1991, building on nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the construction industry.

After earning his B.S. in Construction Management from Purdue University in 1983, David began his career in Dallas, Texas, where he gained valuable field and office experience working for a multi-family developer and contractor. In 1988, he moved to Cleveland, Ohio, to serve as a project manager for both a local developer and a contracting firm—broadening his expertise in all facets of project delivery.

In 1991, the opportunity arose to launch his own firm. Mt. Sinai Hospital engaged David as an owner’s representative to oversee facility improvements at their Beachwood, Ohio campus. That successful partnership sparked a wave of referrals, and DMW Construction Management quickly grew through strong relationships and a reputation for trusted expertise.

Today, DMW continues to build on that legacy—offering reliable, client-focused construction management services backed by decades of industry knowledge and a commitment to delivering excellence on every project.
